On-the Job Training - Induction Program Featured

On the Job Training Department along with Engineering, Business Studies and Information Technology academic departments conducted induction program for OJT students. During the session, the students were briefed about the training place, nature of work, training schedule, timings, goals, objectives and outcomes of the corresponding level of OJT. The following outcomes were discussed with trainees that they all will follow during their training:

  1. Maintain disciplines of real working environment.
  2. Apply theories and principles learned in class to realistic job settings.
  3. Work with professionals in the field of specialization. etc.

The OJT induction program was conducted on 17/01/2019 for Engineering Department and Information Technology department and 22/01/2019 for Business studies department. The OJT students were also emphasized about the importance of attending the OJT seriously and daily as it is the right platform to fill the gap between academic learning and practical work environment. Students were advised to follow the training schedule strictly. Academic OJT Coordinators distributed the “OJT Book” to all trainees and explained to record all activity in Log Book. It was also informed to all trainees that at the end of training all students will be graded by the OJT supervisor at the workplace and by college assessor. The OJT Head Mr. Hassan Kashoob explained about the different skills to be practiced and assessed like, Technical Skills, Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills and thanked all the OJT trainees and wished to do the best in their OJT training.
