The Huawei Certified Information and Communication Technology Associate (HCIA) in Cloud Service training program was officially launched by the Information Technology (IT) department on May 17, 2022, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, at BSIT 18L. The seven-week program will begin on May 24 and continue every Tuesday until July 5. Students and alumni who have mastered cutting-edge knowledge and abilities in public cloud computing and are adept at using Huawei cloud service products would benefit from the training course. Acquiring HCIA-Cloud Service V2.2 certification demonstrates that students have mastered the fundamentals of cloud services and can deploy and maintain a variety of cloud services, assisting businesses in achieving cloud transformation in their ICT environments.
Dr. Abhishek Dubey, HOS of the Multimedia Section, and Dr. Mohammed Al Mahri, HOS of the IT Section, welcomed the attendees. Mr. Devarajan Veerasamy, Dr. Bernard Ugalde, and Dr. Venkateswaran Radhakrishnan then gave an orientation on what to expect on the training program, its goals and objective, and the training schedule. They also gave a system walkthrough on how to use the learning management system of Huawei. Finally, Dr. Fatima Al Shanfari, HOD of the department gave an inspiring speech that motivated the participants.
There were 40 students who registered in the said training program coming from the various academic departments and English Language Center.
