The newly elected members of the Student Advisory Council for the Academic Year of 2021-2022 met Dr Mohammed Rashid Al Mamari, Dean of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Salalah, together with the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Mr Ahmed Mohammed Al-Rawas, on October 27th, 2021.
The Dean commended the students’ efforts and noted on the significance of the formation of the Student Advisory Council in maintaining the connections between the administration and the student community. The Dean likewise reiterated the duties and responsibilities of the Council and solicited their support in fulfilling the mission and the vision of the University. A forum then convened to discuss key issues and explore important topics impacting the students’ educational experience at the University and the management’s perspective to the queries and concerns.
Finally, along and in affirmation with ADSA, the Dean expressed his confidence in the skills, dedication, and commitment of the new set of members which will ultimately lead to new initiatives for the new academic year.
