The Electrical Engineering Section, in coordination with the Staff Development Committee, conducted a webinar on January 31,2021  via Google Meet on current trends and scope of Renewable Energy. The resource person was Dr.M.A.Ansari, senior member of IEEE, PhD (IIT). He is a research coordinator in Gautham Buddha University, NCR Delhi India. Staff and students from Engineering Department attended the webinar.

A statistical and analytical based approach on Renewable energy and its application was discussed.  The resource person focused on Solar energy, Biogas production and the importance of Renewable energy in the Sultanate of Oman. 

This webinar enhanced the students’ knowledge and awareness about the alternative sources of energy that would be more beneficial and environment friendly for the present and future generations.
