Mr. Mansoor Ahmed Bakhit Al-Hadhari and Mr. Aseel Said Ismail Dashesha, B.Tech students from the IT Department under the Networking Specialization participated in the second Student IT Research Exposition (SITREX) conference recently held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Shinas on 31st March 2022.

They have presented their research paper entitled “IoT Based Data Center Security Management System”. The team received the “The Best Research Paper Award” for winning the 1st place from among all research papers presented by the participants from various private, government universities and colleges in Oman.

The team’s faculty mentor was Mr. Devarajan Veerasamy, Project Supervisor and the Research guidance provided by Dr. R. Venkateswaran, Chair – Research-IT Department.

Dr. Fatima Al-Shanfari, HoD- IT Department congratulated the entire team.
