Electrical and Electronic Engineering Section in coordination with the Industrial and Community Engagement Committee organized guest lecture by an industrial expert, Dr Ammar Al Yafai, Senior Control Engineer, Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), Salalah on 22/3/2022 at 9.00 AM in ELEC13L. A guest lecture on “Overview of Wind Energy in Oman” discusses the need of renewable energy resources and policy in Oman, and performance of Dhofar Wind Farm. The event was participated by staff and students of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Ammar encouraged the students to visit the existing Dhofar Wind Farm in Thumrait and come up with possible research.
