The Research and Consultancy (R&C) Committee of the Information Technology Department hosted a university-level webinar entitled “Research Talks on May 25th 2021 via Google Meet platform to encourage staff to undertake research, enhance their research skills and find some research opportunities.

During the first session of the presentation, Dr. Nitesh K. N, discussed about research proposal, stressing all important areas like objectives, significance, review of literature survey, and outline of good a research proposal.

Dr. R. Venkateswaran, speaker of the second session, shared information about MoHERI and EJAAD and some opportunities for funding and innovation awards programs through these platforms.

For the last session, Dr. Shrahda Dwivedi highlighted the selection of journal publications, impact factor and its merits and methods of calculation, h index, JCR, SJR and ORCiD numbers and their role in research activities.

About 40 staff from different departments in the university who participated in the webinar gave their positive feedback for such an enriching experience.
