The Student Development Committee of the Mechanical Engineering section organized a webinar on October 26, 2020. Mr. Gopinath Raju, Head-Operations, Akshaya Enviro Solutions, India, delivered the lecture on “Conventional and Non-Conventional Sources of Energy” to Diploma level students and staff of Mechanical Engineering program.
Initially, a brief introduction about the company operations was given and then elaborated on the following topics:
- Sources of Energy
- Global Trend – Electricity Production using Renewable Energy
- Solar Technology – Solar Photovoltaic
- Different Types of Solar Panels and Grid System
- Solar Modules
- Solar Pumping System
The program was initiated by Mr. Vijayanand M, Member of OJT and Industrial Link Committee. Mr. Venkatesan T, Member of the Student Development Committee thanked all the students and staff for their active participation in the session.
