UTAS-Salalah attributes great importance to providing the best services and resources for our students to develop integration between the classroom and life experiences and thus, creating a balance between academic activities and extra- curricular activities. With this, I invite and encourage all our students to not only make the most and take advantage of the different resources and services offered by the University but similarly, to further develop your skills by participating in the different activities such as student clubs, workshops and extra-curricular activities.
Salalah, the capital city of the governorate of Dhofar, is the second largest city in Oman with over 160,000 people. Laying on the Indian Ocean, Salalah is a charming coastal city located in a unique place in the Arabian Peninsula in the southern region of Oman with mountainous regions on northern side and white sandy beaches fringed with coconut trees on southern side. In Salalah, you can engage in activities like camping, caving, scuba diving, camel racing, site seeing and so much more. There is always something to do for everyone in all kind of places; beaches, desert, mountains, forest, creeks, waterfalls, cities, villages, Historical sites, and much more.
