WELCOME FROM THE DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS We would like to welcome all members of Salalah College of Technology family and community to the Student Affairs' website. Welcome to the Student Affairs Home Page It is our job to ensure that we are doing everything we can to enhance the quality of student life both inside and outside the classroom. Our departments work to give every student, undergraduate and graduate, the opportunity to obtain a complete education. By this we mean a well-rounded educational experience that includes opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, having fun, and living and interacting with others in an environment conducive to learning.
A college functions effectively and efficiently when all its academic and service departments cater for the needs and requirements of the student community in an integrated manner. The Student Affairs Department is a service department which deals with student services and is headed by an Assistant Dean. The main functions of the department are to keep students' records, organize and support various students' activities such as social, cultural, religious and sporting and to provide various student services and facilities such as medical services, housing facilities, student orientation and graduate follow up.
The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs is in charge of supervising the following departments: - Admission and Registration
- On-the-Job Training
- Counseling and Graduate Follow up
- Housing, Student Activities and Graduation
