Dean's Welcome Message

Greetings! To All Staff...

image

I am very delighted to welcome you all back to our College, or to welcome you for the first time.

As we start this new Academic Year, we surely face a great deal of promise but we will also continue to face challenges. You might have noticed the major changes and progress on the current constructions in the College and with this, I thank you for the support and I will continue asking for your understanding until their total completion.

We have moved forward on a number of initiatives, from different I.T. projects, to the planning and construction of new facilities, to our gear towards Quality Assurance, and to several new initiatives. I begin this year with a renewal to that commitment and with a deep pride for my staff.

I trust that all of you, like me, are ready for the fresh challenges and opportunities this year will bring. A lot will happen this year, like the Accreditation visit on November 2009, and our gear to be upgraded to a Bachelor Degree. We will exchange ideas, we will advance our initiatives and discover new ones, and we will continue the work that makes Salalah College of Technology one of the leading institutions in the country.
